I am a fully qualified counsellor having been awarded the BA (Hons) Counselling Studies degree.

I have over five years of counselling experience in various settings in the Grimsby area, and have worked with a wide range of client issues, such as anxiety, depression, self-harm and suicidal thoughts, bereavement and loss, abuse and low self-esteem, amongst many others.

I am also part of Navigo's Systemic Family Therapy team , where I work with famillies and couples, offering both Sytemic Family Therapy and Behavioural Family Therapy.

I have experience in working with individuals on a one-to-one basis, as well as working with couples and families.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and as such follow the guide lines and ethical framework as laid down by the BACP, including ongoing supervision.

I hold a current Enhanced Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) check.

Part of the work that I do is in conjunction with GamCare, which offers free counselling sessions for those either directly suffering with gambling issues or those who are affected by gambling issues. I am able to refer you to the service directly, or alternatively, you can call the free GamCare helpline on 0808 8020133.
